From this year we welcome with great pride and joy, a new product in our range…ice cream!!!!!

Incredible flavors, pure ingredients and authentic Italian recipes are just around the corner, and we are ready to prove once again that we deserve your preference and of course we are happy that you always set the bar a little higher for us, so that we can become better.
So from May 1st, with us, you will find classic flavors (of course, in their best version!!) but also many special ones, which will surprise even the most fanatical ice cream lovers.

We are waiting for you all to try the incredible flavors of our ice cream and tell us what you think. Kozani may not be famous for its summer, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t deserve that feeling of sweet, tasty coolness, which reminds us of a vacation!

But most importantly, we had to learn to respect the people around us! It is the only way to be a good professional! He must first of all be a good person and thus be able to gain the respect of others!

We strive and will always strive to have your respect, as each of you, has our absolute respect.

In this effort, we felt obliged to verify the trust you have shown in our company for so many years and to name some of our suppliers, most of whom are now our friends, after so many years of cooperation. Because the phrase “pure materials” may cover some, but we want to guarantee this “purity”, as times and situations, unfortunately, can interpret the truth as it suits everyone, hiding behind a simple-general- phrase.. “pure materials” .

So we would like to briefly mention some of the suppliers and companies we work with… They are Louli Mills, Chalkidiki Mills, Christidis Mills, Komotini Mills, Creta Farm, Yfantis, Hellman’s Unilever, Knorr, Kanakis, Delta, ION, and many other local producers such as Tsionis, Mr. Vliagoftis, Mr. Pittas, Tzikas Farm etc.

In this way we would like to guarantee you the quality of our products…. and therefore for our own quality as people. Because we may only have been on the Kozani market for almost 20 years, but you supported us from the very beginning and we owe you a huge “Thank you” and of course the promise that we will never stop making sure we always offer products with the best quality materials.

Maybe times are tough, yes, but for us we would never want there to be the slightest doubt that we would replace our quality with anything less, because for us that would mean failure…..

We sincerely thank all suppliers, sellers and entrepreneurs for our perfect cooperation.

But this Kaklidis is coming to abolish! Maybe it will convince even the most difficult palates that it is really easy after all, when you have so many options.

For these reasons, the entire production team of Kaklidis Bakery is ready to satisfy the demands of its customers.

Every day we produce delicious “butter” pies, with fresh vegetables and fasting cheeses. Wide variety of breakfast options, with tahini, dark chocolate, cereal bars, pizzas without cold cuts. Fasting sandwiches with grilled vegetables and seafood, and of course, many more baked goods to choose from every day and time of the day.

In our bakery, you will also find a wide range of sweets for this period ..from syrups and rolls, to cakes and cakes. And of course many flavors in dips, which are ALL produced in our laboratory from pure, first quality ingredients.

We are here responsible to do our best to serve you, all you have to do is visit us and maybe you will finally decide for yourself that, maybe by fasting, you eat better!

But let’s say a few words about what it actually is and what does lagana symbolize?

The history of lagana or “unleavened bread” comes from the depths of antiquity. It was a rough, unleavened bread made with only flour and water and marked the beginning of the longest fast, Lent. The simplicity of this bread also meant the simplicity that the faithful had to adopt in order to start their fast. This simplistic prescription essentially referred believers to more important things, such as the preparation of the soul.

Therefore, Monday was purely a day of literal and figurative cleansing (because we enter a period of repentance and self-restraint), and the fast began with unleavened bread. Which meant that we eat, not for pleasure but for sustenance.

So the delicious lagana we know today may not look much like that lagana back then, nevertheless it is part of our tradition, customs and place.

Therefore, like every year, this year too, we keep the tradition, and on Clean Monday in our bakeries you will find a wide variety of lagans, made with various flavor combinations and a lot of love, and with our whole team ready to serve you as throughout the day and for whatever you need. Why …. it may be Shrove Monday, but we, at Kaklidis Bakery…. we don’t fly a kite!!!

The growing demand for our products constantly creates the need to expand our team of more than 30 people.
